I have over 18 years experience in the soft furnishings industry and am confident that I will always find the right creative ideas that will really make a difference to the interior of your home.
Just returned from the NEC Homebuilding & Renovating Show sponsored by Velux. This annual event with over 500 exhibitors is for self-builders, renovators and home improvers. The show runs for 4 days and there were seminars, masterclasses, workshops and an advice centre. For example the free Masterclass in Theatre One was offering advice on the benefits of underfloor heating, how to fund a self-build, how to make the most of roof space with loft conversion, kitchen design ideas to create the perfect family kitchen, rules for renovating a period property, design ideas for bedrooms and bathrooms were just a few of the vast array of topics covered.
|I was particularly impressed with the launch of the new roman blind range from Velux. There are over 20 different interchangeable fabrics that can be easily removed for cleaning (I am a supplier of Velux blinds)|

The lounge makeover below I project managed as there was so much work to do from organising the decorators and plasterers, sourcing and managing the carpet fitting, advising my clients on the choice of a wood burner, sourcing sofas, tables, lamps and fabric for the roman blinds and cushions. We have still to sort out picutures, mirror, upholstered coffee table and wing back chair (final pictures will follow shortly)

If you have any spare branches from your Christmas tree this year then why not use them to make a centre piece decoration for your table or mantlepiece. By adding baubles, holly, fir cones, dried fruit and candles it can really look effective.
